Les Jardins de Brangoulo existent depuis 2020 et sont en plein déploiement de leurs activités vivrières. Ils sont au cœur du projet d'habitat collectif du Hameau de Brangoulo au titre d'outil d'autonomisation alimentaire et économique du projet. Alex, fondateur des Jardins, reprend l'activité maraichère suite au départ des précédents maraîchers, en attendant l'arrivée d'autres porteurs de projet. Moins de production, mais le développement de la ferme et du hameau continuent.
Nous vous accueillons au cœur de ce projet de vie pour participer aux nombreux chantiers du projet, nottament dans sa composante agricole/paysagère. Nous sommes à quelques kilomètres des meilleurs spots de surf de la Bretagne sud, à quelques coups de pédale de la Laïta, une magnifique rivière, et au bord d'un bois.
Vous séjournerez dans l'une de nos caravanes dortoir, situées au cœur du hameau, "Place des bénévoles" ou dans l'une des chambres du bâtiment commun s'il y a disponibilité. Nous pouvons également vous accueillir avec vos propres solutions d'hébergement : tente, caravane, fourgon etc. Des toilettes sèches et une douche en intérieur sont disponibles dans le bâtiment commun.. Le site est en travaux, le confort y est donc sommaire. Vous aurez accès à des communs avec un libre accès à la cuisine et aux aliments. Les repas sont normalement partagés le midi, du lundi au vendredi seulement, il faudra être autonome pour les autres repas (soir et week-end), même si occasionnellement vous pourrez partager un repas avec Alex, Steph, Jules et Augustine qui vivent dans la petite maison restaurée du hameau. Une liste de courses sera à votre disposition si vous avez besoin d'aliments qui ne sont pas disponibles dans la cuisine.
Nous réservons la priorité aux Woofeurs qui ont pour projet de séjourner 3 semaines.
ATTENTION: Le hameau est en chantier, nous demandons à toutes les personnes qui circulent dans les bâtiments (dont le woofeurs) d'adhérer à notre association (1€ minimum) afin d'être couvert par nos assurances.

It was my first WWOOFing experience and I really enjoyed it. I was very well received from early beginning to the end. I stayed for 3 week in August, so mainly I was helping with harvesting activities (especially tomatoes, in numerous shapes, sizes and tastes - so great experience :)). It is a great project and I can definitly recommend it. Alex explained everything very well and I enjoyed very much the working in a very positive atmosphere! The farm is not far away from sea, so I could enjoy swimming and surfing in my free time as well! Kind regards from Austria!!! Christian

I spent a couple of weeks at Branguolo, and it was truly brilliant. Everyone at the farm was super welcoming and helpful, and it was great to learn such a wide range of things from the people working/living there. During my stay, the work mainly consisted of plastering cob walls, some market gardening, and brushcutting.
The balance of work and free time was clearly explained and it gave me plenty of time to explore the lovely local beaches. Accommodation in the caravan was perfect, and the food was always tasty and plentiful (sorry for going through so much bread and butter...).
It was also great fun spending time with Jules and Augustine - I hope the strawberry and spinach harvests are good this year to keep up with the kids' almighty confiture and veggie lasagna demands.
A big thanks to everyone at Branguolo for such a great stay.

Alistair was a wonderful woofer, we spent really nice time with him. He was always volunteer to help, whatever the task, very nice with our kids playing a lot with them, teaching English and learning French. Come back whenever you want Alistair, you’re at Brangoulo at home :) !

Très chouette séjour ! Ce lieu est inspirant et donne envie de s’y installer ! Alex prend le temps d’expliquer ce qu’on fait et pourquoi, c’était très agréable de l’aider ! L’ambiance sur le lieu est super aussi, j’ai pu rencontrer plusieurs personnes de passage. Je me suis pas mal amusée avec les 2 petits loustics Augustine et Jules, très énergiques mais très attachants!

J'ai passé 10 jours très enrichissants aux jardins de Brangoulo !
Entre maraîchage, rénovation des maisons en pierre, et travaux plus généraux comme la mise en place de clôtures pour les futurs animaux, le travail à Brangoulo ne manque pas de diversité et apporte de nouvelles découvertes chaque jour !
J'ai beaucoup apprécié faire partie de ce magnifique projet durant cette courte période et je reviendrai avec plaisir ;)

My time WWOOFing with the Brangoulo family was an incredibly fulfilling experience with the kindest, most helpful, and caring people. My daily tasks with Wayne - always accompanied with good humor and agricultural knowledge-sharing - included harvesting fruits, vegetables, and flowers for the market and local restaurants, preparing new garden beds, weeding, managing pests, and cleaning/recycling. Wayne made sure I understood my tasks, was happy to answer my many questions, and established a clear weekly schedule for me (which included weekends off to relax or explore local towns). On weekdays, the shared lunches were a special moment for the collective to enjoy several things together: meals consisting of fresh vegetables from the garden, good company, joyful respite, and lots of playful banter. During my time here, I felt connected to the mission and spirit of the farm and that my role as a WWOOFer was necessary and appreciated. I learned so much not only about the logistics of operating a market-garden, but about communal living and moving forward as a collective with shared ecological /social values, morals, and goals. I will always cherish my time with Wayne, Clara, Alex, Steph, Isabelle, Sarah, Mylies, Arnaud, Axel, Yohanna, and Jule + Augustine. Thank you so much!!!
