A bientôt j'espère. Je suis franco-irlandais, so English speakers are most welcome ! We just bought a new farm, so after 12 years we have to start all over again. There will be plenty of work like putting irrigation, preparing the soil and planting, sowing.... a new beginning ! Half the land is already produicing food. Depending on the season, you will live in wooden houses in the trees (look at the pictures) or in the house in a bedroom with a big bed. The shower is with cold water (heats in the sun during the day) and you use dry toilets if you live in the wooden house. There is everything in the family house, common toilets and hot shower. We are vegetarian. We can cook together or you can be independant. Some say I'm not a bad cook, so we can share our knowledge about making nice meals ! My goal is to share my knowledge about growing food on this wonderful planet so everyone interested might do so. I hope to see you soon. No drugs welcome on the farm.

I had a great time with Michael. He is one of the interesting people I've met and I really enjoyed our conversations. I stayed with him for a week, and it was an unforgettable experience. For the first time in my life, I got to live in a treehouse and I also took part in one of his sweat lodge ritual which was a unique experience for me. The place is in the mountains, so the views were absolutely incredible. The work is hard, not gonna lie, but I learned a lot and enjoyed the overall experience. If you're looking for something different I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We had a blast at Au Bio d’Ici. It was isolated, the work was physically demanding and the accommodation was rustic yet comfortable. With Michael’s passion, expertise and guidance (not to mention lots of tasty food - the BEST strawberries on the planet), the challenges of this WOOF were extremely rewarding. We left fitter and stronger, and with a deep appreciation of how hard organic farmers work to produce healthy delicious food. Michael is a generous host who loves a good chat and who is also a deadly chess and card player. We appreciated the way we were adopted as part of his family for two unforgettable weeks. We hope to see you in New Zealand one day, Michael.

I spent two weeks with Michaël at Bio d’Ici - it was hard work but nevertheless an experience I will always look back on positively. For the most part, we helped Michaël establish new mounds, sowed seeds, harvested potatoes, and even assisted in felling some pine trees. I loved spending time with Maïla and Alannah over our lunches prepared by Natalie, and I was lucky enough to share my time there with Mae and Megan, laughing until we cried in our little wood cabin. Thanks Michaël for having me!

We spent a perfect week up in the mountains with Michaël and his family. If you’re looking for a more isolated and peaceful environment, this farm is the place for you. There is hard work to be done on the farm, but you’re surrounded by stunning views and you have most of the day to relax and enjoy delicious food cooked by Michaël and Natalie. We spent our week helping to create mounds made from manure, hay, and wood chips. The work day was from 7am to 12pm and we got to enjoy lunch with the family afterwards. We were provided with fresh vegetables, pasta, rice, lentils, eggs, and other things for making our own dinner in the evening. The cabin we stayed in was so comfortable and cozy especially on the evening it rained. Clearly a lot of work and love was put into building it. Thank you so much to Michaël and his family for welcoming us and sharing with us the passion for permaculture farming.
