Bonjour !
Hi, we are Marie and Ludo, 55 y.o., we have two daughters and two sons.
Marie was born in a real farm and Ludo is a vine grower grandson.
30 years ago, we chose to come back in the grandmother’s farm in this cozy Beaujolais hills.
First, we grown 14 ha of vines, but we early felt that we had to change our way of growing. Today we grow small fields of 20 different mixed varieties of wheat and 7 different grapes varieties, thanks to our soils. All our harvest is baked and vinified by ourselves. We’ve got a mill near the press, Marie bake and cook twice a week and the grapes are vinified by Ludo. All our production is sold “Farm to fork” not to undergo globalization again. 20 pickers help us to harvest grapes and we work as a couple the rest of the year and we’ve got pleasure to go to work because our job feed ourselves. Sometime, in the spring, during the rising of vegetation we work hard in the vines, the orchard, the garden, the mill, the henhouse…and we would be very happy to share this moments of life in Terres Vivantes.
