We grow organic mediterranean vegetables & fruits of saison that we sell on markets and AMAP (baskets). We recieve you (2 persons maximum) on our farm for participating about planting, weeding, harvesting preparing baskets, markets, or preserves, but also any other basic activities on a farm . Also, we recieve people visiting the farm once a week in our nice tropical greenhouse and we offer them to stay with us and tasting our cooked fruits and vegetables made with love!... So you can help Anne on cooking once a week preparing meals for our hosts ... Anything you'll do with us will be varied ! Anyway, we' ll ask you to help us depending on weather of the season : cold period : 4 days (of 6 or 7 hours) per week, so you'll have 3 days off for tourism visiting surroundings and summer : 5 hours a day, during 5 days a week, so you' ll have many hours for rest everyday You'll be accomodated in a private wood cabin, with a wood bathroom (you'll have to share the bathroom with our young son) and a private small kitchen for your breakfasts and diners (we provide all for that). You'll share your lunches with us so we'll have good time for exchange our experiences. We make our best to bring you a clean and pleasant stay in our wood cabins, so we ask you to keep them quiet clean ... if you can't wash your dish everyday, nor keep the bathroom you share with the others clean, please don't come ! Situated on the top of a West hill of Nice, we are at 15 minutes walking (very down then after coming back home very up) far from the "Lingostiere" commercial centre. There you'll find the bus n° 59 (45 min far from Nice center) or the little train of "les chemins de fer de Provence" that drives you in the center of Nice for 20 minutes and there you can reach the beach or other cities along the sea like Cannes, Antibes, Villefranche, Monaco…. Please no smoking inside (wood cabine) and no drinking alcool. French, english and italien spoken, and some german. If all that is OK for you : Welcome au potager !

It was my first wwoofing experience and what can I say, my time at "Le Potager de Sanquier" was AMAZING! I couldn't have had a better time with them! :) It was so fun to learn and do new things every day, Pierre always took his time to explain everything to us and Anne was always available, if we needed help with something. In general, the whole family was so welcoming and open-hearted, I felt really comfortable from the beginning on. My goal of learning and speaking a bit more french was also achieved, so for everyone looking for a place to practise their french, I would highly recommend!! :D What I really cherished was just the beautiful energy at the farm, everybody being so warmhearted and let´s not forget the amazing lunch every day which created a very nice ritual with the whole family. I will definetly come back, big thanks to Pierre and Anne!!

It was an amazing experience spending time on the farm with Anne, Pierre, and the rest of the family. They are such kind and caring people, who run such a lovely, well organized farm, with the most amazing produce and the sweetest animals. The work that we did was very informative and reasonable, and the meals we shared were always personable and delicious. Thank you so much Anne and Pierre for giving us such a wonderful experience that we will always remember.

My week at Anne & Pierre’s farm was an incredibly special and precious experience. It will undoubtedly be the most unforgettable part of my entire journey. Anne and Pierre were incredibly warm, kind, and thoughtful hosts who went above and beyond for my comfort as a WWOOFer. They patiently guided me through the farm work, and staying in their beautiful wooden cabin was absolute bliss—it was the perfect place to rest and recharge after a fulfilling day. The meals, made straight from the farm's harvest, were exceptionally fresh, delicious, and energizing. Since my French is limited, I was deeply touched by how they thoughtfully spoke to me in English and translated conversations so I could always feel included. The farm itself is stunning, and it was a privilege to learn about their sustainable, eco-friendly farming practices. They shared so much wisdom that I could never have encountered back home in Korea—such as making natural pesticides from wine and beer, companion planting, and using chicken manure as fertilizer. Anne was so eager to give me a diverse range of experiences, even though it took extra time and effort on her part, for which I am immensely grateful. She taught me how to make homemade hummus. Pierre also took me along to his market. Exploring the beautiful sea and vibrant markets of Nice during free time was fantastic. And also thanks to their sons, they were so nice to me. You will have a truly magical time here! Massive thank you to this wonderful family!

What an amazing experience! Staying with Anne and her family was such a special and unforgettable time - learning all about their honest, ecological based farming that is always about balance with nature. Work at Le Potagier Saquier is at times physically demanding but so rewarding. The accomodation is great, beautiful and convenient location, lunch (yum yum) with the family was always a daily highlight! I also adored going to the market on the weekends - I cannot recommend enough!
